Default Help with Electrolytes

Hey gang. I am looking for some info and am going crazy with all the info I am finding so I am hoping someone can help me out.

My son(9) suffers from migraines. His trigger is mild dehydration. Water alone does not help. The key is electrolytes. The neurologist had suggested Gatorade and it does the trick to keep the migraines away. (One every 10 days when not monitored). I am looking for other drinks that may do the trick too. We are trying Smart water, vitamin water, powerade......
Mostly I am becoming more and more concerend about his future health with drinking one or two gatorades a day.

I am looking for a list of drinks that will help replenish electrolytes. I find individual drinks but I want to find and compare sodium levels, sugar levels and ingredients in different drinks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You could look at the EmergenC brand. I think they have a electrolyte line but even default EmergenC has Na, K, Ca, P, etc. if I remember right.

If you are in doubt of the electrolyte content, sugar levels, and some other ingredients of different drinks, I would suggest that you have to know first the normal values of each electrolytes, sugar levels, etc. that your son is in need, and compare the labels of each drinks for you to know what will be better.

Hope this helped you.

Nuun hydration is a great idea. They come in small tubes and you just drop a tablet into water and wait two minutes. Very great on replenishing electrolytes, but low on sugar too.

They work great for me on the river as I'm usually sweating in a wetsuit in extreme cold or heat.
