Default Gaining mass, not muscle

Im around 110 pounds and i really want to to gain mass and muscle would be nice but aiming for mass. I eat three meals a day and maybe some snacks in between. Ive recently started to work out but i dont really know how to start but most importantly if its a good move. Im afraid of losing weight and not gaining any mass or muscle. What should i do? CAn i still gain some muscle or is not the right moce?

That post is phrased really oddly.
What would it be in your mind to gain mass without gaining muscle - adding fat?
Why would you want to do that?
If you are not a spammer, please come back and be more clear about your situation and what you really want to do.

Srry if i was confusing. Im just raally skinny and want to gain fat/muscle, i just want to increase. Im trying to be realistic, i know im not going to lots of muscle but a little wieght being fat or muscle is what im aiming at. Ive been useing wieghts to try to gain some muscle my arms. What im worried about is that i may be doing more harm then good. If i excrise i lose more fat and dont gain much msucle so im in the negitive. Does anyone know how to be in the positive?

this sounds like an episode of the Simpsons when Homer was trying to get hyper obesity so he can work at home.

But seriously, gaining "Fat" is pretty unhealthy as people are usually trying to lose that
