Exercise is just one piece of the puzzle. You have to really take a closer look at how many calories you are taking in on a daily basis.
I always recommend my clients keep a food diary. Just get a notebook, and write down everything you put into your mouth. It will surprise you how easy it is to underestimate your caloric intake.
After you have an idea of what you are taking in, daily, find ways to eliminate around 500 calories a day (fruit juices, soda, portions, etc.).
As far as exercise, it all depends what you are doing. Are you doing strength training, and cardio? I hope so! At what intensity are you training? Your exercise intensity should progessively increase over time.
Are you getting 7-9 hours of sleep at night?
As you can see, there are a lot of variables that go into an effective weight loss fitness program.
Create a plan that incorporates all of them. I hear your frustration!
You can do it!
