Default Low Body Temperature

I was sick a few weeks ago and bought a thermometer.

For some reason I kept taking my body temp and it's repeatedly below normal. It usually is 96.8 but sometimes has been in the 95s

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this?

My client who is a doc, told me it's nothing, but wouldnt' this mean my metabolism is slower than optimal?

Thanks in advance for any info...

I've heard that this can be a symptom of Hypothyroidsm. Are you having any other symptoms?
