Default Hi, I'm new here. :) Well I believe I have Hormonal Imbalance

My doctor don’t seemed to really work with this type of stuff, and he don’t seemed to be a good doctor at all because he my new doctor, and he very young. So that might be why? Now, he told me I’m healthy and he don’t find anything wrong in my blood when I had a blood test ect. Everything is find, he says. I don’t seem to agree with him at all because I know my body because I live in it right? But I know I have hormonal imbalance because there things that is not genetic as I can find from my dad, my cousins, and grandpa ect…..What I notice from myself is that I have a lot of grown hair around my body such as (hair back, on my shoulders, my upper arms, around my neck which you would see like a lot of hair even under my ear than what you see with most people. I also have to much on the chest and stomach like I’m hairy like a 40 or 50 year old) and I mean people would tell me I’m hairy, and embarrassing to say that I have more hair than my dad because he not hairy at all and he is 59 and I’m 19! I’m too young to be this hairy! My uncles don’t have it and my cousins don’t have it either, with so many hairs on me? So why I have it? Plus I have acne! I start to have little fin winkle coming out of my face from last year to now which is getting more worse which seemed very strange. I do get depression. I’m always feeling tired a lot (even when I try to sleep 8 hours I’m still tired, or even when I sleep early, or when I sleep a bit more than 8 hours I’m still tired.) I start to have thinning in my hair as well. I do have swollen feet. I do panic a lot when I’m not scared or in fear. I also do start to have Memory loss which seems worse. I also do get headaches for no reasons. I also do get that burning sensation when urinating or sometimes hard to go urinate (Not very common.) Dry skin when is oily. I do get anger a lot and everyday and now I have skin cancer on my side of my leg where I never had tan or sun burn and I‘m not fair skin either. Sometimes my body kind a hurt for no reasons. What is going on with my body because I am very concern about my body that I am living in. My doctor don’t seems to not want to do anything about it. I don't think my doctor is specialize in that field for helping those with hormonal imbalance. All this just makes feel hopeless and sad because I don‘t see myself healthy… So is this all the sign of hormonal imbalance because I really need to get rid of that because I’m not looking like myself and I’m start to lose more of my self-esteem.Can anyone recommend me anything like what drug, or what because I do eat a very healthy diet? Please help me, I been hurt by this (emotionally)

I'd start by seeing another doctor, maybe even two other ones, and ask about a referral to a specialist or two.

But also realize that you and your body can be quite different from others in your family. It just happens.

Well, I hope I can find someone to help me because things just getting worse and not going to try to hurt myself to death, you know what I'm saying?I hope my parents allowed me what I need to do because they might say I'm find or I don't need to get checked up. I hate when they do that! When they don't know anything, like this cancer on my leg they think it was just a mole thinking I'm stupid, but I had to force them to know that I do until I when to the doctor. So now I have to go to a dermatologist. I’m thinking the reason why I have imbalance hormone is because when I was small I was a bit over weight and use to eat a lot of junk food and eating fast foods such as McDonald s for example. I also notice that I ate a lot of chemical and artificial foods even last year, year before until I was interest in health this year and took it very seriously for few mouths now and I notice I been eating things that are real toxic to my body.

Sounds like a you should see a dermatologist (doctor who specializes in skin conditions).

One question: It appears that English might be a second language to you. If it is, may I ask how you translate your native language into English? Is there an internet translation service that you use? I'm just curious because I've wondered how accurately those services can translate from one language to another as my work involves communicating with people all over the world. Fortunately for me they speak excellent English, but it would be nice to be able to communicate in someone else's language.

Cheers !

I'm not really sure about some of your other issues such as depression and the skin stuff, but as far as hair and muscle imbalances go...I'm 29 and I have never been very hairy, and I never will be. My younger brother is much hairier, as is my dad. My dad was bald at 23, but I'm still going strong with a full head of hair. All people are different, even in the same family. Also, most people are not symmetrical in terms of their muscles, both sides of the body aren't always exactly the same. I wouldn't really worry about that quite yet since you just started lifting, lift for a while and see how it goes.
