Default Sleepy after lifting?

Yeah, it happens to me.

I'm working the TNT Plan A right now, but here goes:

On my lifting days, I do my rep/sets fasted (because eating before makes me nauseous). It's usually short (20-30 mins) but leg-shaking intense, then I stretch/foam roll and have a shower.

Within an hour, I have a protein shake, supergreens (and/or sometimes eggs) and straighten up my exercise area. Then back to my job at the computer.

Invariably, within an hour, my energy drops and I feel like I need a solid nap. I walk around to get my energy going, but I have to wonder at the energy drop.

And yes, I could take a caffeinated diet soda or coffee, but I just wanna know why I feel this way.

I'd say endorphin release combined with food digestion. Sleepy combo.

In basic training, after we would stuff an insane amount of calories in our bodies in like 10 minutes, we would go stand in formation with our hands behind our backs, and seriously, seriously feel like passing out becausese of digestion, but we fought it.
