I thought you guys might get a kick out of this story.

I was recently out of town visiting my grandmother. She is 92 years old, and despite losing almost all her vision to macular degeneration, she still lives independently and cooks all her own meals. The only household chore she needs help with is dusting high places and moving furniture to vacuum behind it.
She never formally exercised, but grew up on a farm and then married a farmer. She has
always been active.
We visited a friend in the nursing home, and on the way out we needed to go up one story. There are two elevators in the building, but at each one there was a very long line of nursing home residents in wheelchairs waiting to get on to go back to the upper level.
So my 92 year old grandmother and I took the stairs.
