Default how to get rid of this bump on my body (serious please)

I would prefer to just keep this simple and straightforward without crap answers. Yes I realize I shave down there, but it seems there's this dark bump a couple inches above my area. My only guess is maybe one of those ingrown hairs or w/e, cuz it's kinda dark but not too bad. I know that it's nothing dangerous or to worry about, but it might look a bit better if it wasn't there for no reason. Is there any way to get rid of those types of things?

I don't want to give you a crap answer either but, unless this has been around for a few weeks, then I'd first wait and see if it goes away on its own. If not, then I'd go see a doctor. I don't think anybody here can give you a worthwhile diagnosis from a description and I don't think anybody here wants to see pictures, either! So, my best guess would be wait and see first, then go to the person who can more accurately diagnose what's going on.

A friend of mine told me a similar story. He's recently divorced and tells me that many ladies like a groomed look in the area of which we do not speak. Well, like you he developed a bump shortly after an unprotected adventure in a hot tube and he just freaked for a week until he could see a doctor. Much to his relief the doc diagnosed the mystery lump as an ingrown hair. I'm not sure what the treatment was....that's what web md is for.

Take a needle. Use the sharp end of the needle and gently pull the ingrown hair out (there's usually a little loop where the hair has grown back in and it can be used to pull the hair out). The lump should go away within short order. If it doesn't or there isn't a hair, Go to your doctor.

If it's a bump it's natural the only real way to get rid of it is chemical peel expensive or live with it.

I know this is an old topic, but I'd use Paula's needle method. I get ingrown hairs all the time when I shave just above my "tool" or on my stomach. Usually mine appear as pimples, but often I will get the dark bumps if the hair is really long or there are multiple hairs in the pore. I pull ingrown hairs outta my face where multiple hairs are intertwined--kinda like pulling a tree trunk from your face. Such an interesting subject......

The easy way to remove ingrown hairs is to apply a really warm washcloth to the area a couple of times a day and it eases the hair out. Then take some needle nose (not pliers) tweezers and it should come out.

Works on hubby's FACE. Should work on other body parts well.

It's been a couple of months. Hopefully, the bump has gone away.

Well... Lifter? You still with us? I guess the bump went away. Hopefully, it was just an ingrown hair.
