Default exercise improves executive function in overweight children

Interesting link
Exercise prevents dementia.
Exercise improves brain function in kids.
This sounds like a concept that people should really try.

Reminds me of one of those "grandma's wisdom" stories. "PE" and recess used to be an integral part of school when physical activity was still the norm. I don't know exactly what's going on now - my kids are grown - but I don't think physical activity is emphasized.
