Default Weight loss

I sit for long hours to search for weight loss. I am at complete loss; I don’t know what to do. Can anyone help me??
I have tried numerous types of diet and I did not lose an inch of my weight. I’ve thought to try diet pills now; I think it’s the only way left for me. I am obese and I want to lose that extra weight. I’ve learned about Acomplia on the net, but did not get much information. Can anyone tell me more on diet pills?? Is it good or not?? Any other suggestion??
I found this site by pure helplessness. I was looking on line for help in finding the perfect weight loss pill. I am so tired of being over weight and the sad part I never use to be. I was being harassed by my boss and I looked in the mirror one day and hated what I saw and I have tried everything to lose this weight and nothing. I am very depressed and sad all of the time. Can anyone someone helps me tell me where to start?? I have been on Xenical but with no success. This is my last hope. I have no energy. I came to know about Acomplia but I am a bit reluctant to take this diet pill. Is this the best way to lose weight?? Do you have any other suggestion??

It all starts with your mind and how you feel. The best exercise program and nutrition in the world is useless if you do not train your mind for success. Training your mind is something that needs to be done first and as an ongoing thing in conjunction with the right fat loss program and the right nutrition.

If you are serious in this pursuit, you desperately need to find a multi-disciplinary weight-loss center at a large medical center to help guide you through your physical and psychological issues. Best of luck.

Diet pills don't work - most seem like diuretics that will get rid of water weight, but once you stop taking them, that weight will come right back.

What methods have you tried? I've had success with a good food plan and an exercise plan that incorporates full body strength training 3x a week and cardio work at least 2x a week.

yeah..it is not only avoid eating its a combination of things...gotta exercise...do something.. thats a must..doesnt have to be a lot of exercise not lifting weights...thats one of the major mistakes...gotta run!!..thats it..first burn the fat..then build muscle...watch what you eat..not obsessively..that will just make you hungry..hehe..just eat what you want as healthy as possible ..small amounts more times a day..and drink water

Default Natural Weight Loss Guide

I can relate to your feelings. About 1-year ago, I was at your exact spot and I was becoming depressed too. I had never been this heavy in my life and it seems that nothing was working to make the weight loss permanent. I knew the answer was out there somewhere but I had gotten too depressed to bother. Unfortunately, I had given up until one day I was walking not briskly, quite leisurely. I found that there was an uneasy feeling in the area below my breastbone. I would stop and rest.

I decided to visit my doctor for a blood pressure check and I wasn't too surprised to find that I had very high blood pressure readings. I knew that I had to do something, immediately and fast. I started to walk on my treadmill at home that was gathering dusk in my basement. Then a friend told be about a natural weight loss guide that teaches you how to lose weight using simple foods bought from the grocery store.

I thought what is this going to do that other diets haven't already claimed. She assured me that I would be pleasantly surprised because she had been using it for about 6-months. She had lost about 15-pounds and her skin was looking so much younger. So I decided to follow her lead but I talked to my doctor first because she had already started me on diuretics for my high BP. She said that as long as there are no diet pills involved, she would not have a problem with eating modifications.

The results have been astounding. I have weight loss of some 10-lbs in 2-months, inches from my waistline and smoother skin tone than I have had in years. Also, my hair is now naturally silky, has a natural shine and is healthier looking. My doctor was stunned on my last visit that my BP has fallen several points and she notices the weight loss.

I now feel accomplished, motivated and happy - no more depression - I now have a new lease on life. I am enjoying food without guilt and everyday armed with this new weight loss guide, I am creating my own recipes from all the foods I love. I have also found new ones to like that I had never eaten before. I would recommend this natural weight loss guide to anyone who wants to eat foods to become healthy and lose weight.

Since it sounds like you are new to this and need some support I would suggest a program like Weight Watchers. Something that will teach you how to eat properly. And then get moving. Diet pills are not going to help you.

I was also going to suggest weight watchers. It's a great plan and it's fail proof if you follow the guidelines. Have you taken a look at the "Adam's Diet" posted in another thread on this forum? It's a great plan. Good luck!

the pills he was talking about are pharmaceuticals, which are not diuretics and can work.

Hi dreamland,

I will not suggest you to take pills but i would like to suggest you for exercising and taking nutritional food. And to know about these you should visit some fitness and diet tracker site.

I know it's an old post, but, "works by blocking the CB1 receptor, one of two receptors found in our body's physiological system called the Endocannabinoid System (EC System). It is believed the EC system plays a critical role in the regulation of food intake and energy expenditure. Acomplia works by selectively targeting and blocking CB1 receptors, which are responsible for informing the body of hunger and providing urges to eat. Thus by helping to stabilize the over-activation of the EC system, it is possible to manage hunger cravings in a more effective way way."

Years ago I was asked if I wanted to join Canadian trials for the drug. I declined when I read some of the possible side effects. The two that made it a 'no go' for me were the upper respiratory infections and memory loss. The reading I did at the time had shown in some people that the memory loss continued after stopping use of the drug.

"Acomplia can cause certain minor side effects, however these are usually temporary in nature and disappear once your body adjusts to the medication. These include:
  • Infections (Upper respiratory tract infection, Gastroenteritis)
  • Mood alterations
  • Memory loss
  • Dizziness, headache, irritability
  • Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting
  • Hot flush
  • Skin disorders
  • Tendonitis, muscle cramps or spasms
  • Asthenia/fatigue influenza
Rare side effects of Acomplia
  • Panic symptoms, anger and emotional disorder
  • Lethargy
  • Hiccups
  • Night sweats "

If you see the side effects list for the placebo it would likely be similar.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. People often report side effects with placebos--that doesn't make the side effects of medications non-existent. There is no such thing as a medication without side effects.

I remember hearing the disclaimer at the end of a medication commercial. It warned that 5% of the people taking it got the runs. 12% of the placebo group had the runs.

Sounds like a mildly effective medication for diarrhea, only it was for anxiety.

Maybe they were anxious about getting diarrhea?
