My response here should really be in the CE thread, but think what the hundreds of billions of dollars used for Iraq could do for education, training, healthy worker incentives, bike lanes, recreational activities for kids, anti-obesity initiatives.... and on and on. It could have paid dividends for decades to come with lower medical costs, better quality of life, a more productive and happy work force.
But, hey, then we wouldn't have the all-important pics of Saddam in his underwear.
