So I always feel fantastic after I have been drinking the night before. Even a couple drinks or very drunk. I was wondering why this is or how I could achieve it without the drinking part. I shoud'nt feel good since I would be dehydrated.

Yea. I feel REALLY good. It could be quality of sleep or something. I can get less sleep and feel more energized and I could work out longer and do more math without falling asleep than under any other circumstance including all the sleep posible. And I drink cheap alcohol on an empty stomach with no water sometimes.

Not to be an alarmist, but have you considered that perhaps you have a problem?

no. I drink once a month at most and always socially. Lastnight I had less than 2 smirnoff ices and because i had'nt eaten I got a little buzz. Woke up way before expected today and I feel fantastic. I just seem to always notice this. Thank you for your concern though.

heh I am a 22 year old female and sometimes I can drink a lot and other times.. 2 smirnoff ice work for a buzz. Its a mental thing partially and I had'nt eaten. I weigh around 130. I have noticed I feel great every time I have ever drank as long as I don't go overboard which has only happened once or twice.

Hey Race...you def don't have a problem. But just be careful. It's obvious that you really like what the drinking is doing for you..that's how things get started.

It could be that the drinking is relaxing you. Perhaps you are tense most of the time..maybe you need to find some relaxation techniques? Really...you can get a good nights sleep and wake up refreshed if you are properly relaxed. Alchohol is a shortcut but can be a dangerous one. It's good that you are looking for an alternative. My guess is that it's the benefits of the relaxation that you are enjoying. I have a buddy who does hypnosis and he claims he can teach us to self-apply hypnosis for relaxation leading to deeper sleep. I haven't tried it...but I'm not really having probs with the ZZZ's.
