This has been going on in Europe and Canada for years. There have been many patients that have had this implanted in the US stemming from trails done in several states, one of which being Texas. This is great news that the FDA finally formally approved it. A Neurosurgeon that I know is already practicing this procedure which involves Vascular surgeons being in on the operation as well since they go in thru the front. I know one person who could use it.
