Nice blog. Congrats on your progress thus far. You can't go wrong with Cosgrove. Too bad you missed my summit last year. He was a great presenter!

Omnivore's Dilemma was a great book! We've had a few discussions about it in the Nutrition forum and one in the CE forum. You should do a quick search and contribute since you have a frame of reference (nothing more maddening than debating ideas from a book with people who haven't even read the book).

House is one of my favorites shows on TV. It is one of 5 that we DVR.

I can't suggest enough the efficacy of the TNT Diet. No calorie counting even necessary. I love it. I eat like a king and get (and stay) lean and mean. I would like to say shredded, but at 40 I'm not going to have unrealistic expectations.

Where do you work out? Your first picture looks real familiar.

For your upcoming trip bring a set of bands with you. Portable gym.

This May I am bringing Aragon to LR, FYI (and of course, the notorious Lou Schuler and a few other special guests).

Keep up the great work. Nice blog. I'll put that on my blog list.

Thanks for the kind words Jean Paul. I workout at Snap Fitness in Maple Grove, MN. It's a hole in the wall. Perfect because the weights are always free.

My Dad's got a gym membership in OK so I am going to try to get in there while I'm down there.

What is LR? I bet that's a dumb question I would love to see any of those guys in person.

I will have to check out the TNT diet. Not counting calories would be nice, but part of me likes it!

Thanks again.

LR = Little Rock. For some reason I thought you were from this area.

TNT is easy, which I need with bustling businesses and three children!

I always get great speakers to my summits. Check around some of the old summit threads to read some reviews.

I'm familiar with Snap. It's a franchise that is popping up all over the place in the East. My only problem with them is that they are so focused on fixed plane machines, and I am more of a functional training guy... I like my Kbells, bands, med balls, slide board, etc.

Agreed. I avoid machines like the plague. My Snap has free weights, squat rack, etc. Everything I need to get a great workout.

I just wish they had these!
