so i'm studying for the CSCS exam. the book didn't expand on this but i guess i'm more curious.
2 ADP can catylzes into 1 ATP and 1 AMP through a myokinase reaction. obviously the 1 ATP can be used for immediate source of energy. but, all the book states about the AMP is that it's a powerful stimulant for glycolysis. so when looking over the glycolysis process, i'm not finding where it comes in as a stimulant. any of you genius CSCS's out there got a "dumbed down" version of how exactly that AMP is used as a stimulant in glycolysis?
