Default Marketing Strategy for Apartment Complex

Hey all,

There is a very nice apartment complex that I recently made a deal with. I told them that I would give the residents "free" equipment orientations and that they could advertise that they had a personal trainer. In exchange I would get to train people in their gym, and advertise with flyers ect.

I was thinking of putting up a flyer offering free fitness orientations. Where the people could ask me questions, learn to use the equipment ect. by setting up an appointment with me.

To me this seems like I'm giving away too much in a way. I might be better off just offering an equipment orientation. I was just wondering what kind of marketing methods you all would use in a situation like this. I have pretty much free reign and a great fitness center(even has a basketball court). The management really seems willing to work with me, and they havent mentioned a percentage of my rates ect.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

That sounds like a fantastic idea (if the facility is decent). No overhead... You gotta love that! I wouldn't even mention percentages... You're doing them a favor, giving their complex added value. If anything, they should be paying you.

You can offer them equipment to take back to their apartment too like dumbbells, spin bikes, and so on. http://fitsupply.com/apartment s I specialize in apartment fitness centers. If you feel like offering them equipment to train with in the comfort of their apartment let me know I'll hook ya up.
good luck!
