Default Best organization to get a PT certification? ---->

Ok .. so I've *finally* succeeded in overcoming a decade battle with anorexia, I'm finally getting my head in the game and am passionate about getting certified to be a Personal Trainer. I've always been a nut about fitness, training, etc., and would love to turn it into a career so that I can reach out and help others.

I live in the Chicago area, and preferably, want some place that I can study and do the testing for online. Obviously price is somewhat important .. but I am so passionate about getting my certification, that I'm mostly open to whatever program would be most recognized and versatile for hiring purposes.

As a side note .. I don't have any "existing" degrees at all .. so I can't do one that requires a degree to start or obtain PT certification.

That said .. what's the absolute best organization to get certified with for overall employment, philosophy, thoroughness, educational information, and versatility?

Thanks loads!
Nicole

I highly suggest looking through the threads in this section of the forum. This has been debated many times....

summary: It is all about how much YOU put into your education. You can have an A+ cert (NASM/NSCA/ACSM) or a C+ cert (AFAA) and earn the same amount. It is all about how much you commit to learning more and how hard you work for your clients.
