Default The Dumbest Initial Assessment Question?

"You Want To Bulk Up or Lean Down?"
If you're still asking this question or any form of it, during your initial fitness assessment with NEW CLIENTS, then you're probably struggling with getting your clients to sign up with you. Especially if you're even attempting to do 3 month or more training programs. This question fails to connect with the REAL reason why your clients even search you out as a trainer in the first place, and if you fail to get this vital information, your closing rates are going to be under 50%. To learn the secrets to asking the RIGHT questions during your initial assessment with new clients, go to my FREE BLOG at www.myfitnessmarketing.com.

I don't think I have heard this question asked in the last 4 years as a hiring director, or a trainer who educates other trainers. I hear this mostly amongst gym muscle heads when they are approached by uneducated souls. I think the majority of people (especially the ones that read this forum) are smarter than that and their BS meters are pretty good. Know what I mean?

This is just a suggestion.
If you are going to put content on the internet, present yourself as a professional (you use Dr. in your screen name so I assume that is earned whether MD, DC, DO, or PhD) and then refer people here to your internet content , you should proof your content better.

So you need to ask questions during the initial assessment on; [list of inconsistantly worded questions follows the semi-colon]
If this is a professional site, pay for some professional labor to clean up the English and make a better looking page. Having so many fonts and sizes and the use of all capitals makes for a messy page that is unprofessional and is not going to give prospective clients confidence that you are offering a quality product.

Well, I wasn't gonna look, but then Lisa had me curious.
Wow, that is bad.

Lisa,

It's called getting a lot of things done in a short amount of time. That requires that I not only run a chiropractic office, manage patients and staff, but also run an online consulting company. My grammar is the least of my concern. The funny thing about it is, that most people I meet who care about grammar, usually make the least amount of money. So the fact that you totally missed the message of the post and cared more about grammar, already tells me all I need to know.
