Default Small Road Sign Advertising

I am thinking about buying "rogue" or "bandit" signs to advertise my Group Fitness Boot Camp. These are the small signs (18 x 12) on the side of the road at intersections. they are called "bandit" signs cuz many cities have ordinances against them but it is loosely enforced on the weekends.

Any thoughts on this type of advertising? How well has it worked for you? The best colors? Should I keep it simple with a few simple words? I was thinking "Group Fitness Boot Camp (678) 555-1234".

Any advise?

Brandon

I think you need more on the sign - URL perhaps? I'd rather lookup a website than make a call to someone I don't know for more information on something like that.
On the other hand - I guess you get greater proportion of serious inquiries if you only provide a number -
But on the other other hand - a URL I'll remember as I drive by - a phone number not so much.
I'd put your business name, your product (group fitness bootcamps) your URL & your Phone Number I guess -
If you have something catchy or a slogan or a "2nd line" to your business name - included that as well "Fitness not Frustration" or "Fitness in a nutshell" or "Get in and Get it done" or some such (not that I like any of those)

When I see those little signs at intersections and such, I always think "scam". I just don't take them seriously. Now, that's just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth! LOL!

HI
yes they have worked and are just one of many type marketing techniques used...I would include your business name xxxx fitness bootcamps phone number etc..
or advertise a free bootcamp ..ex Free Sat bootcamp ,phone number
That's just a few quick ideas...this has been discussed in my private group and bootcamp forum in depth and it is always suggested to keep it simple
Thank you
