You can save $100 and ditch the BOSU.

Well, in my home gym we have weights, a cage, and benches.
That's also what I use in the gym.
I assume you already have those though, since you didn't list them.

Kettlebells are a fun addition if you can afford some. An oly bar and some plates wouldn't hurt.

Argh! Don't believe the hype... You want to give your core a good workout? Do some front squats!

Hey Aaron,
I would say think about your main clientale and base your purchases on what you need to train them.

The things I have found the most use for:
-Select Tech dumbbells
-Slide board (nice option for clients who can't do impact for cardio. make sure you get a non-slip one. I have to put 25kg plates on the ends so this cheap one doesn't slide all over the studio...)
-TRX (needs a good anchor. Our doors didn't end up working so we did a permanent wall mount)
-Tubing (I use the covered kind (i think they are called slastix))
-Boxing gloves & mits (for this the cheap ones so far have worked fine)
-med balls
-some cones
-mats
-jump rope

I also got a Bowflex and wouldn't buy it again. Got a standing heavy bag but it makes too much noise for our downstairs neighbor (flower shop). I have a weighted vest and it's ok but I would buy one that is more adjustable and easier to fill. So far all the things that I bought cheap have broken so I would spend money on good quality products. For groups I have gotten a lot out of the CorePole. The folks seem to like to workout and see each other. It's a bitch to fill but after that it's been great for our type of business.

When I do at home training sessions I just usually take some tubing and the boxing gear.

Do you have the necessary stuff for evaluations?
-measuring tape
-scale
-calipers (I got a bio-impedance BF measurer and it was a total waste of money. So inconsistent it's unusable. Went back to calipers and/or measurements only)
-timer
-camera/video

Good luck with it all!

Salut,
Kaisa

Avoid these, and get either Powerblocks or simple std db bars and plates.

The reason why I say this:

1. Warranty. Selecttech: 90 labor, 1 yr tumbler parts, 5 yr plates. Powerblock: 10yr overall.
2. Weight. Selecttech: 52.2lbs, Powerblock: upto 130lbs.
3. Size. Selecttech: same length no matter how little the weight. Powerblocks are narrower than most at 35lbs.

However, w/ cost factored in, std bars and a group of plates will beat out either ST or PB.

Cynic is right. If I had had the choice at the moment, I would have bought Powerblocks. Unfortunately, they didn't arrive in Spain until a few months ago.
