There was a recommendation by JP to check out the bootcamp info package by this guy. Once I get some money, I'm definitely going to invest in this.

I was curious, are the rest of his information booklet regarding expanding and succeeding in the fitness industry worth while? There are a few others that I am really interested but I don't want to fork out the money only to find out its not really beneficial stuff.

Thoughts and opinions please!!

I haven't tried all of his products, but I have had great success from everything I have gotten from him so far. If you want the best free e-newsletter on the web I highly highly recommend his. I dumped all but three of them, but his was on the top of my keep list.

I also know him a little personally, and find him to be someone who has a great deal of integrity, so I feel good about financially contributing to his success.

Heres an old post where I wrote about the Bootcamp package:

Quote:
Actually its 4 cds.

The first cd talks about marketing and then things to consider/logistics for setting up an indoor or outdoor camp.

The second cd (two tracks) talks about technical aspects about setting it up. So they talk about how they set up their bootcamp from warmups to exercises to cool down. They talk about exercises that they like and use, but ultimately your own bootcamp will have exercises that you are competent at doing yourself and teaching.

The third cd is a FAQ. So they talk about FAQs regarding insurance, studio fees, pricing, some advertising, a little bit more on business logistics, etc.

I havent done gone through the 4th yet. Its easy to zone out on these audio tracks.

You get a checklist document as well that summarizes things.
I havent tried Volume 2 of the Bootcamp kit, so if anyone has tried that one, please post a review.

edit: I also bought the Ultimate Sales Kit. That one was ok but not very useful for me because I already knew sales (I suck at marketing and prospecting). For someone who doesnt know the psychology of sales and how to frame things in your favor in the context of fitness, it is super useful.

I considered Labadie's ultimate sales kit. I was looking for info on how to generate leads rather than close a prospect. It sounds like from the previous post, Labadie's kit helps you close a prospect. (Which if you need help with that, his kit is a steal! I spent $3k on professional sales training and it wasn't even directly related to fitness!) I stumbled across Eric Ruth's how to sell fitness, and ordered it. It was exactly what I needed. Great ideas on an overall methodology on lead generation marketing. I am trying out several things along the lines of his recommendation that seem to be working. It's a ton work and takes a good amount of time, but just like anything else there is no magic bullet!

Labadie did an interview for the Fitcast Insider that he talks about generating leads. I don't think the Fitcast Insider is up anymore, but I'm sure if you email Kevin, he'll hook you up.
