For folks who have conducted bootcamps, what times of day have you conducted them (successfully)and what is the profile of attendees you've had (demographics, interest, etc).
I have several times going. 6am, 11am, noon, 6pm, MWF, and other variations on t, th, and sa.
My clients tend to be somewhat affluent, but I do have some people that are average income who just want success in fitness enough to find bootcamp to be a worthy investment.
My typical clients are college educated, 30 or older, and have a household income of $50K or higher.

Im targeting teachers so Ill be hitting promoting 5am, 6am, and 7am for before-school enthusiast but it really depends on who I get from which school because different schools open at different times so if I can get enough people from a school that opens at 9ish, then Ill do an 8am class.
As far as after school, Im going to base that off of feedback but Ill do 5,6,7pm. I could do a 4pm and even a 3pm but again, its a matter of when school gets out and how many people I get from each school.
If I find that the teachers are clustered around certain times, then Ill fill the other ones with another niche like government employees.

Bit of a hijack here but what kind of equipment do you guys use?
Bands, KBs, DBs? Primarily bodyweight movements?

Gender is 50-50 for me. My groups are pretty evenly mixed.
Fitness status, well, since most people are deconditioned in general that means most of my people are not advanced by any means.
Most of my clients are in their 40's and 50's, hence they've had time to get the usual compliment of neck, shoulder, back, hip or knee injuries, so if I don't figure out how to work with those folks I'm pretty much S-O-L.

Thanks for the info, JP.
Now, another question or two: if that is your bootcamp clientele, then how did they come to be such? Is that due to where are how you market (your business network groups, whom you speak to at businesses, etc)? Or do those folks just naturally tend to sign up out of more general promotion/marketing?
It mostly started from my business groups/presentations. After that it caught on with the general membership. Internal marketing is a lot cheaper than external. Having nearly 1,000 people to market to is easier than buying ads.
