Default ACE lifestye & Weight Management Counsultant Certification

Does anyone know what you can do with this certification? I already have my NCSA-CPT and am interested in helping others lose weight. Will this certification allow me to do anything different besides just having the CPT. For instance, will I be able to design diet programs and give people advice about their diet, or do I still need to be a nutritionist or dietician for that. In all, is the certification worth getting.

Thanks for any help or knowledge on this issue

Most states still require you to be a licensed RD or nutritionist, as far as I'm aware.
The LWMC is more about the underlying conditions of obesity, psychological issues, past attempts and what can be learned from them.

It focuses more on helping people develop a healthier lifestyle as a whole, with exercise being a part of that equation. Still, though, it doesn't give you legal right to prescribe actual diets, only general advice on how to make the right choices.
