Default Future Plans (Move from Canada to US)

Hey Guys,

I’m looking for advice on what necessary steps I need to take in order to make a move in the near future to the US from Canada and work in a fitness club legally.

Any gym owners from Miami looking for a fitness coach J???

Thanks

Not to put down Canada, but it is cooler than Miami....less babe flesh, less beaches, less "girls gone wild"

LOL

Winters are too long and summers are too short. I would love to one day make a move to Miami, do what I love there and enjoy life. I find it that since I don't enjoy any of the winter sports I need the ocean by my side and sun over my head at all times

I'm not sure about Canadas but I do know that most western europeans struggle to get visas, or are granted one but then have it removed.

I made some enquiries at the Law firm I work for and was told that unless I had a large sum of money to invest $150,000+ the only way I would be grated a full working visa would be to marry an Amercian.

In order to get a working visa you'll need to have an employer sponsor it, which is a rare thing these days. Restrictions are tighter and there are more beaurocratic hoops to jump through than ever so fewer employers, even those normally dealing in international business, are willing to sponsor one.

You'd have to start checking gyms in the area you want to go to and inquire with them, but honestly your best bet might be create your own training business and do it that way. It'll cost money and take time but can be done.

Or yes, marry an American.
