I get payed very well though for my age, around 600-700 weekly. And its part-time work so its all good. I make my real money playing No-Limit Texas Hold'em. I won a tourny in San Diego this past sunday, and came out with $11,445 in winnings...also won a qualifying seat for the next WPT tourny, but im just rambling now lol...my apologies.
Hey can you tell me a little more about ISSA, I want to try to get a cert from them, but just curious about the exam and costs and what not. There are 2 other places NESTA and AMFPT http://www.amfpt.com/ which looks kind of crappy.
Thanks.

I'm new to the site, but just finished the Cooper Institute Master Fitness Specialist Course. they have several different levels. They are recognized world-wide. If you have a week and don't mind spending the money take the trip to Dallas and experience their course. I enjoyed it and am certified, all that was required was CPR.

I have certified with a couple of organizations, but the only one I care to recommend is the NASM. I started with them in 96 with Advanced Personal Trainer which was a five day course with class and gym time averaging 12 hours a day. It was very helpful. The last certification I took with them was Performance Enhancement Specialist which while considered cutting edge at the time was overkill for the average pt client. Too much emphasis on high level sport training. This represents a small percentage of the average pt client population, at least in my experience. NASM was very strong on functional training with program design to fit starting fitness levels as well as the client's ultimate goal. They are very big on client education regarding effective movement patterns, spinal stabilization, and joint stabilization specific to the goal of the chosen exercise. I would recommend them highly.

But what are Sal and Phil's motives?
