I am getting ready to buy a bulk of them to replace my Bodybuggs (just put them up on ebay). If anyone from the UK or Canada wants me to grab an extra one I can and you can just paypal me the cost and the shipping.
Got a few days so let me know.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but BodyBugg's new version (which looks the same as the GoWear Fit) is on their site. Pricing's a bit different (I think it was $250 and includes 6 mos. subscription) but maybe they'll ship further? I didn't check...

Slightly off topic here but I don't understand the reference to Leigh and kool-aid. Could someone enlighten me?
To make this on topic I did get a $300 gift from work and if Santa doesn't bring the gofit then I think I know where some of this money is going.

I am interested but do you think there be a problem with a French credit card for the subscription? Once I wanted to by an online flight from Boston to Canada and they wouldn't accept my credit card.

This is probably best answered with a link, see "drinking the kool- aid" here. Of course, as far as I can tell, Leigh is actually deserving of all this blind following and adoration.

can these things be used by multiple people, like could my mom use it for a couple days after I have used it? I am guessing she would have to have the subscription.

The site says no as it will mess up the readings and I think you set up your profile on the site, based on your stats... I had thought about justifying the cost to my accountant boyfriend by lending it to clients to use, but think that's not going to work!

You could. But you couldn't switch back and forth. Leigh gives hers to her clients for a time, and presumably she resets the data for each one.
eta: assuming it's enough like the bugg, that is.

Yes they can be used by multiple people, you just reset the stats and even that doesn't effect things during wear time.
As for price of shipping, it would be basically the cheapest/reliable for overseas. It wont be overly heavy. I wouldn't imagine for most places it would get higher than 8-13 bucks.
Going to place my order tomorrow so just add your name in if you want one. Or say "I want one" and I will order it and when it comes you can send me your info.

I am particularly enamored of the sleep assessment. I totally need more sleep! I know this is critical for fat loss and I need more of it!

I will make sure that cost and shipping is reasonable before I buy, worse case scenario I just return it, no big.

Hey Leigh I'm offline till Sunday night so unless it's crazy expensive to ship then just get me one - I've decided I want one and cost aint gonna deter me now! Used to the horrendous cost of shipping to the UK - ordered a kettlebell DVD that was $49.99 and had to pay about $20 shipping then another £11 this end for customs and admin charge (wouldn't have had to if she had labelled it 'education materials $19.99' as some well informed people do!)
Can email you my address and can pay pal the $ over, just give me the details...
Am I more excited about
a) my new kettlebells (another 20kg and a 25kg)
b) my new gowear fit!
c) getting back into training
d) Christmas
Hmmm.... it's a tough one, think Christmas presents to self (a and b) are joint winners at the mo!
Forgot, another thing to be excited about this Christmas:
d) FLTS relaunch and OPT remix for the New Year!
Thanks so much Leigh, greatly appreciated...

ahh another Mac addict!!! me too!!! I have to say, I just got a new (refurbished on the apple site) Macbook Pro 15" and bought Parallels and finally there is emulation that is really snappy.. (I had been an unhappy hateful user from Virtual PC 3 to 7)...
But I'd have to want this really bad to buy anything else running on Windows... only my investing sofware is used on my PC part of my Mac

So what's the impressions/verdict on the product? Is it accurate? As someone who'd like to know his calorie burn, I'd be interested in picking one up if it works.

The website says:
Is the GoWear® fit system compatible with a Mac?
Yes, a Mac running with an Intel processor is required to run the GoWear fit software.
I sent an email to find of more specific details and will write here when I find out.

I'm a Mac-er too so would be interested in the response! Although can run it off my boyfriend's PC if need be (knew letting him run football manager for ages would have its use at some point!)

here's the reply:
"Intel Mac and Gowear Fit"
We do not require boot camp or parallels for Mac support with our product. We provide native USB drivers for the Mac and work with the Safari browser. You just need to make sure you have a intel based Max running OSX 10.5. Please refer to Mac Compatibility for more details.

You had a quick reply. I sent a question off to them on Friday asking if there would be any problem signing up for the subscription from a European account and have had no reply yet
