Default A little guidance for my first diet break needed...

Hi everyone... am finishing up week 12 of OPT Original. Have had about 11 pounds lost as of this past week. Was hoping for more, but honestly, I have only given about 85% instead of 100% effort.

That being said, I am thinking that I am going to start another round of OPT to get closer to my goal of an additional 20 pounds of fat loss. I am planning on taking 1 week off for a diet and gym break.

How close to maintenance should I be eating? Do I adjust my maintenance levels for the decrease in activity? I'm feeling a little clueless!

Thanks guys!

IIRC you eating at maintenance means whatever your activity level that week dictates your maintenance to be that week -

Yeah, I guess I'll base it roughly on my GWF data then?

If that has been accurate for you thus far then yes you could base it on that.

GWF is a good start, just don't take the readings as gospel and you should be good. As need you can adjust downward. IMO i always start out a little lower and adjust upward as need vs higher and lower. Little bit more psychologically encouraging from what I have found.

I have the same idea with you. Great! Thanks for sharing.
Glad to hear you're using this: I plan to keep it much more aggressively up-to-date than has been the case in the past, but don't hesitate to let me know if you find errors or need clarifications.
