Default A little help? An update (re: Armour Thyroid)

Oh, by way of a heads up:

I checked my journals and noticed that my ill feelings started happeneing about two weeks after I rec'd a refill on my Armour thyroid meds. When I couldn't get refills recently, I went online to find out what the deal was... and found they changed the formulation in Feb 2009.

Many have reported a return of hypo symptoms (on their regular doseage) on message boards all over, so if you take Armour and find yourself not feeling so well, it might be the cause.

FWIW.

The problem with Armour is each batch varies from the next so it is much harder to get stabalized on the med.

The formulation was changed this year-the Armour wasn't available in many areas of the U.S. this year.

I've heard complaints from many others who are using Armour and used it before w/o complaints. From what I remember, it was reformulated so it would more easily pass the stomach, while the people complaining were all taking it sublingually (or bucally) anyway to enhance absorption.. with the new formulation they get a lower dose than before.
