Default Is there a Fat Loss Trouble shoot for HypERthyroidism esp for people who++

did not get "skinny" but gained weight. I do not know if my weight gain is attributable to thyroid issues but I need to lose about 30+ lbs and I worry killing my thyroid is going to make it even harder adn I really really cannot put on anymore weight, I'm just trying to get healthy right now.

My TSH is .75 don't know the specific T3/T4 b/c don't have the results in front of me but how hypER am I exactly?

Thank you so much!

Were you diagnosed by a doctor as hyperthyroid? My TSH is low and I have thyroid nodules but I am hypothyroid. The reason I am asking is that you usually don't gain but lose weight when you are hyperthyroid.

Same here, my TSH on its own would indicate hyperthyroidism but my T4/T3 are low without medication thus that gives the diagnosis of hypothryoidism. TSH is just a chemical that the pituitary puts out and is not in itself a meaure of thyroid function.

He said hyperthyroid we went over the blood tests together but i don't have them in front of me hopefully will get them today and i will check the T4/T3. it must have indicated it was too high (that plus low TSH means hyper i'm figuring). hope they come in the mail today! i also have weird DS DNA Antibodies so I'm being tested for AI disorders too. I want an answer fast lol!
