Trying to gauge my results. I'm happy so far, but are these typical results, less than typical, etc?

Oh, and as a caveat, I did go back on BC pills a week and a half ago and Leigh told me I should reset my starting weight at around 200. So maybe even my results are better than this...

If you're happy so far, shouldn't that answer your question?

There really is no "typical" since every body is different and reacts to deficits differently. And since OPT's deficits are based on percentages rather than a hard calorie number, one person with a maintenance of, say, 2500 cals on a deficit of 35% would then eat 1625, for a deficit of 825, while another person with a maintenance of 1900 would then eat 1235, for a deficit of 665. So going by the math Person 1 could expect to lose at a faster rate than Person 2.

If scale loss were linear, that is.

FWIW, I'm a few days into Week 7 and, based on my low weight (bounced back up after a refeed), have lost 9 lbs.

If you gained 3 lbs of lean mass in 6 weeks, I need your secret!

I think those results are awesome! You are obviously having significant body composition changes...which are not reflected on the scale. But you are still losing on the scale, even with gaining muscle, which is fantastic. Keep up the hard work!

Thanks ladies! Of course, these measurements are only as accurate as my body fat machine is, which is a Quadscan 4000. I'm not sure of the % error for this device, but at least I have been trained to use it correctly.

But I feel encouraged!
