Default Ready to start FLTS ideas

So, I gave in and bought the package today. I've been listening to it all day. I can't say that there is a lot that I didn't know already, but hearing it again is good. And, putting into practice will be the key.

Starting tomorrow, I will be tracking my food with fitday IN GRAMS. yes, I will put every bite of food onto the scale before it goes into my mouth.

I don't have my specific numbers yet but will have them put together tomorrow.

I'm scheduled to start Stage 2 NROL4W tomorrow and I'm going to try to proceed with that and just play it by ear with my deficit and all. I've decided to only do 2 NROL4W sessions per week, 2 swim sessions per week on alternate days (40-60 laps) and a yoga class.

I'm also dealing with a potential cortisol issue but won't know the test results until next week.

Sounds like an awesome plan. I too got FLTS but I don't follow the plan as written. Leigh says to use it when something isn't working, and I'm still plugging along just fine.

I too have dropped weights to 2x a week.

I walk a lot and get extra cardio.

I feel like I'm not doing enough at times, but I'm not stressed, so that's good.

Good luck.

Thanks for the support, Annette!

Ok, my first eye opener of the morning (I'll sit back while I get the "I told you so's"!)...my apple is NOT a medium apple at 75 calories. It's a 205 gm apple at 100 calories. It truly is not even a big apple...trust me...I've had Granny Smith apples that are twice this size. This is going to be a very interesting experiment - this weighing everything before it goes into my pie hole.

My second eye opener of the morning was how incredibly hard it was to walk out of the gym after doing my NROL4W 2A session and NOT get on the treadmill, bike or elliptical. I truly felt like I was cheating or something by not doing at least some steady state cardio. However, I'm going to stick to my plan.

Now, I need to go drink some water. 3L a day may just kill me.

Did you weigh only the parts you ate of your apple though? Your apple could be smaller if you weighed the whole thing and then discard the core.

Good luck with the FLTS I'm planning on starting this week, I've had the package for months now, but haven't had the time/energy to start till I can get a few days off to plan meals.
