I have been doing regular breaks this latest round of dieting and can't believe I ever dieted without them. I know many people are scared of the break, I was too but now am a believer.
Agreed. this article could not have come at a better time for me, as I am on day 4 of my first diet break and wasn't really sure how long the break should be, etc. I wish I had been able to read this a year ago! If I had, I'm sure I would be done with the dieting by now!
Great article, I'm saving that one. I've only just started reading his blog, and am now interested in the podcast he mentioned.
I've been counting my weeks and will take my break at 12 weeks. I'll have to consider the 2 weeks vs. 1 week, but I figure by then I'll really have the calorie counting down and should be able to eat easily at a maintenance level.

Same here. I have only done breaks of one week so interesting to read that two weeks are recommended and the reasons why.
Does eating PB2 dry on a spoon count as a mini-break, a treat, or a mini-binge?
Fear the PB2 dust, that crap will make you cough!!! Oh, and it sticks to the roof of your mouth in a way a PB sandwich can only dream about . . .
