Default Fitness videos

I've been doing TaeBo Cardio since the past month. I want to know whether any of you has tried it/heard about it. How do you think it is? Should I continue with it?

My primary motive is fat loss.
Also, which fitness videos would you recommend for weight loss?

if you like it, do it. whatever gets you offa yer ass.
for weightloss i recommend eating less than you expend. preferably of relatively healthy foods so that you don't suffer as much.
but I'd be totally interested in what some other random person might have to say at some later date…

I'm getting bored with the Billy Banks Taebo Cardio video, which other cardio videos would you guys recommend?

@Aiofe: Yeah, I'm controlling my diet too, a bit.

it's very personal, what YOU like.

If you're focusing on fat loss, then I'd strongly suggest controlling your diet more than "a bit"; that'll give you the best results. If you're getting the results that you need without having to focus too much on diet, then you might be ok, but if you slow down or stall, then dial in on your diet first.

Leigh suggested Netflix as an option for videos in FLTS. I haven't tried that but you can keep videos for as long as you want and then get a new one.

It depends... is it one of the videos where he wears his super low cut spandex suit?

If so, I'd keep it.

Depending on whether or not you have any home workout equipment (step, risers, barbells, dumbbells) here are some of my favorite video instructors ..

Cathe Friedrich - Mindblowing step vids ranging from more athletic to more choreographed .. also some seriously fantastic weight workouts, but you would need at least a couple sets of dumbbells to do them . She also has a few kickboxing videos as well.

CIA (I think they're only available through collagevideo.com) .. complete series .. I really like a few of the instructors, others aren't so great. I've loved anything by Franny B & Janis Saffel

If you're strictly wanting kickboxing .. I've done Billy, and a few others, and no one kicks my butt like the Powerstrike series by Ilaria Montagnani & Patricia Moreno. I'm drenched and tired every single time. It's challenging, but do-able and the routines aren't over complicated or confusing. It's a serious kick butt workout that never fails to deliver a serious punch (no pun intended)

Other than that .. Karen Voight isn't half bad, and the Firm gets lots of raves (although I seriously hate them ... to me the workouts are bland/un-exciting and just leave me watching the clock)

Keep in mind too .. if you're getting tired of Billy, the weather is getting nice, and it might be a good time to shake things up, and take your workouts outdoors. You need nothing more than a decent pair of running shoes or cross trainers to throw in a day or two of power walking, hiking or run/walk intervals.

If you like the kickboxing type and love good music, I really really loved the TurboJam DVD's. It may be too dancy for you, but you can make it as athletic or dancy as you want - I just really love the good music to workout with!
I also like Cathe Freidrich - different style.

Well, my friend is in a TaeBo program. And with regular session, she loss about 20lbs. She told me that proper diet and regular exercise should be practice while under such program like that.
