Exclamation I'm ALWAYS hungry!!! Please help me!

I'm trying to burn off that last 10 lbs of fat. I eat 5-6 meals per day (lean protein and a complex carb), and I'm always hungry all day long. I weigh 135, am 5'4" tall(short), 35 year old male. I easily eat 2200-3000 cal per day. I jump rope a total of 5000-6000 reps/day with bodyweight exercises thrown into the mix. I injured my foot and was forced to take 2 weeks off my rope jumping and put on 10 lbs. I never use to have this insatiable hunger b4 (even with the munchies!), and I know if I could just control my snacking thru the day, I'd have no problem burning off the last 10 lbs.
Please help....
Thanks in advance and sorry for the lengthy life story!

I'm impressed with the rope jumping, do you actually count or guesstimate?

Do you eat any vegtables or do you mean a bagel when you say complex carb?

What's your fat level? Fat is very satiating... 30% or even a little more of cals can help with the hungries, as can getting decent protein.

Also, intense exercise (like rope jump) can spur appetite... maybe you just notice it more after you had to take a break?

I'm hungry too... sigh...

At 64 inches and 135 - that would be an acceptable weight for an athletic female.
Maybe you should take advantage of your appetite and work out hard and put on some muscle for the next six months or so and then if you have some fat on you, you'll strip it off easier.
Something to consider.

If you're not willing to take Lisa's advice, which is a good way to go (bulking, i mean), and you're not willing to back off like Bytsi is kinda suggesting, try fewer but bigger meals. There's nothing terribly magic about 5-6 meals per day, and plenty of people find the more often they eat, the hungrier they are… and the meals can't be terribly big on a cut (relatively) and so some people can't manage to be NOT hungry most of the time.

Except for the fact that the OP says he's a 5'4" 135 lbs male, which makes the original post even more puzzling. Lose 10 more lbs???

I think that was her point. It makes for a pretty athletic FEMALE… a MALE should potentially look at putting on some muscle and then see if he still has fat to get rid of, and if so it's be lots easier.

Thanks guys. I kinda came to the same conclusions myself (time to bulk up). I'm not not trying to lose 10 more lbs (per se), just cut the body fat; however, yeah more muscle would do it. The never ending munchies was just bugging the hell outta me

As to the jump rope for AEB, I count my reps by the hundreds an d when I say 500, it usually means more like 600 but I tend to lose count and always round down!
Anybody out there that is looking for a fun cardio aerobic AND anaerobic workout, I highly recommend it..
4 months ago I couldn't even do 100 in a row w/o being out of breath.
Thanks again everyone..
