TNT for women...
Hi Leigh:
I have your e-books and how found the results amazing by incorporating weighing/accurate measuring and simple calorie counting. My problem over the last while is that I've been insanely busy and unable to prepare my own meals, and hence I've had to grab a lot on the go. Although I made very healthy choices, the calories managed to add up (it's a bummer when you don't know what's gone into something or how much).
I just recently finished up a MSc in the winter, but am also in the process of my last term in TCM/acupunture/shiatsu while also working a few night shifts at an animal hospital (while also preparing for my wedding in late May) not to mention setting up my business which launches in June. Long story short, I really don't have the time to cook (or clean lol) and I'd rather take the spare time I find to get into the gym for 45minutes to do weights. Another factor is my poor sleep habits from nightshifts and insomnia from the A-type-things-to-do anxiety.
Over the last year, I've managed to put on some serious muscle. Right now I'm sitting around 24% BF, 120 (I'm 4'10.. well 4'9 and 3/4... so let's round up to be nice) but my triceps buldge with clear definition and my back is still okay. I want to look stellar for the big day, since everyone will be staring at me in a strapless. Since I'm all over the place with my schedule and work and not able to count calories with true accuracy, I was considering taking on TNT for the next 6 or so weeks.
I've heard some pretty good feedback on the diet and bought the book to check it out. Everything seems to fit for me, but the only thing I'm unsure of is the whole eat-all-of-this-and-not-that until satisfied and no need to count calories. How do you feel about this tactic? Do you think I should at least guesstimate or try to keep a tabs on how many cals to the best of my ability or should I just stick with the original. It is originally marketed to men with significantly higher metabolism than petite little me, so for them an couple hundred extra cals might not affect them tremendously.
I do enjoy your books, and as soon as June comes around when I'm done in school and can set my own schedule I'll be back to cooking and counting accurately. For right now it doesn't seem like an option though and I'm curious what you think would work best to drop a few pounds of fat and look decent by May 31st.
Thank you Leigh.
ps (because I sense this coming from at least someone lol): I also do not have the ability to cook a bunch of stuff on one day for multiple days. A) no spare time B) even if I did have stuff prepared, there's no guarantee I could actually bring it or have it with me due to the changing nature of my job. I've tried this and it didn't really work. I ended up with a beautiful meals still in the fridge and a takeout meals in tow while on the road.
