Default newbie here

So, I just wanted to post:P

I have 3 kids (ages 4-9), packed on at least 25lbs each pregnancy that never came off. Well, until Jan. 07, I decided no more babies for me and went from a whopping 204lbs, to my current weight of 132lbs. I have maintained this weight since Nov. of last year. I still have some issues though. I want to lose some more fat and get a bit more toned.

I've found myself slacking more and more. Its hard to have the same motivation that I had in the beginning, but my goal THEN was to see a loss on the scale. Now, its to look/feel fit. I would love any advise or suggestions.

Perhaps you could post what you are doing now, exercise/diet wise and you may get more feedback that is specific to your goals.

Anyway, welcome

That is fantastic Aimee, you look amazing!! It's a whole different feeling isn't it, when you flip from focusing so much on the loss on the scale to focusing on an overall feeling of good health.

I personally don't have any children, but I've noticed that kids can totally change how people look at health too. You begin to want to do it for them, to teach them a healthy lifestyle, to give them a better quality of life, AND to keep yourself healthy so that you can be around for them and their children, and so on. I have friends who never ate an organic food in their life, and suddenly they are pregnant, and they become the gurus of all things nutrition! Ha. Children just take it to another level.

Good luck on your journey.

Sheila
