I would love to hear this specific answer too.

Bump.
I know myself and at least one other person would really like some specifics on how to achieve this look. I loved the discussion on figuring out what you want and what are the limits of your body type, but I'd really like specifics regarding training to achieve this look.
Thanks!

Kelly Ripa cleaned up her diet, ate less, did some light resistance training to build and retain muscle, and also did some yoga/stretching, too.
Leigh's OPT would be a good choice.

this...

these are the only two looks that appeal to me.
and honestly, i strive more for the kelly rippa look than the other mostly because i'm smaller chested and petite framed.
i also agree that these looks have alot to do with diet - though training DOES, no doubt, play some role. for example, those girls with more muscle probably spent some time "bulking"(bulking routine and eating above maintenance) in order to build up their musculature, and THEN focused on fat loss. someone like kelly rippa though, most likely just focused on fat loss and maintenance of her current musculature.
in my experience, lifting heavy in and of itself will not bulk you up unless your diet allows for muscle growth(ie you're eating above maintenance). so to me, advocating "lots of cardio" and "high rep light weight lifting" to get the kelly rippa or victoria secret body does not make sense.
bottom line is diet i think.
just my random two scents.

The only way I would get a "look" like Shakira's would be by cramming a week's worth of socks into my top.

TRUST ME, the grass seems greener, but it ain't.
I guess no matter how I exercise and restrict calories, I'll never be 5'2"! That's just depressing.

Me either, Tiggy. Even at goal weight, I will most likely have my curves and boobs and no way in heck I'll ever be 5'2" or petite! (Since I'm 5'10"!)

Excuse me for asking what's probably a very stupid question. I was interested in the first four podcasts in the series, but I can't seem to find a place to complete a subscription. I've subscribed to RSS, but nothing is showing in the feed. On the "Subscriber's Only Section" page, there doesn't seem to be any information about membership information.
Apologies if I'm missing something obvious - any info would be appreciated.

On this page ( Fat Loss Troubleshooter Blog-Leigh Peele) --over on the right--did you fill in your name and email and then hit "Submit"? You should be subscribed if you did. I believe you should get the password for the Subscriber's Area in your email.

Thanks so much, I managed to figure it out. That suggestion worked, as well as checking my email's spam folder.
Sadly, it seems from listening to one of her later podcasts though and reading her October 9th blog post, that the first four in the series are lost/being redone? (Or else I'm being a total dolt again, which is possible). Her whole website is great though, as well as this forum which I've recently stumbled on, so I'm really enjoying browsing through the material that's available.
I stumbled on this forum and her website, because I'm at a point where I need to make some decisions about personal goals, what is need to get there, and balance it what is realistic within my time/energy/genetic/attention span limitations. So knowing what these people have to go to get to the way they are, is really useful to know.

Nope--the first four are in her subscriber section, at least until she gets them redone in a new format. Check out the subscriber's only section for the first four Make My Body Hot podcasts. Her other podcasts are in the podcasts section.

Hmm...I tried it just now and it is giving me the same error. Maybe Leigh could look at them and see if she can figure out what's wrong.
