Default I have to give another praise for Leigh!

I began OPT about 4 weeks ago. I kept a log going here for two weeks, but then fell away from it, but did continue on with OPT. I also dug out this really nice digital scale my hubby got for me a couple years ago which I rarely used. It measure in grams and ounces. In the past, when I did use it I measured in ounces.

Since reading FLTS and following OPT, I have begun measuring everything in grams. Even the powder for my protein shakes. That scale has gotten more use in the last 4 weeks then it has in the last 2 years. It is a great scale. (will have to give my hubby a hug for that one)

I have dropped 10 pounds since beginning. I have to say it has been the easiest 10 pounds I have ever lost. I'm following the caloric and macro requirements in OPT and have rarely felt hungry.

Thanks so much, Leigh! Your FLTS has really opened my eyes to how I was measuring food to how I"m measuring it now. Don't have any use for the measuring cups anymore!

Jodi

Ditto here! I started 9/28 and have lost 4 lbs so far, despite the fact that I ate over maintenance one day and 300 cals over my 30% deficit the next. I have NEVER had such good results before and attribute it all to the program set up and following Leigh's advice to track and weigh everything.

Good for you, Jodi! I had the same results in the first month I was following FLTS. Don't you love how you know you're eating at a deficit but you don't feel crazy hungry because of the macros? I was shocked some days when I realized I had to force myself to eat another couple hundred calories because I was running low. lol!

Keep up the great work!

Thanks, Leigh, that is Rudy our 5 year old yellow lab. We also have Charlotte, who is 2. They are my spoiled, rotten furry babies!
