Ha awesome post.

Well for those with OPT I recommend checking out the Maintenance Manual.

For others...

The most important thing I think that one needs to remember when moving into a maintenance or "done" area is to make sure that you take into account "deficit" body comp vs "maintaining" body comp. For example, if you wake up during dieting down and you look in the mirror and you love what you have then it isn't congratulations. It is the homestretch because that body comp is gone the sec you come out of a deficit. You have to make sure that you have the body you want and like when you are eating at maintenance. Meaning if you are bloated, tired, and holding some water but you look down at your legs and you look at your arms and you still feel okay with what you have, then, you are done. Until then, and this is of course based on pure cosmetic wants and desires, you need to still keep going.

lol, thanks Leigh, its weird the OPT and the body fat video has made me realize that i can achieve my goals and actually its quite simple if i put my mind to it 100%. I guess i use dieting and worrying about how i look to stop me focusing on other things in my life, ie i use it as a distraction, telling myself I need to lose 20lbs to do this or to do that....its a weird control thing and in a way quite scary, looking back on it i think i have self sabotaged my diet attempts because focusing on my body is some how much easier than focusing on parts of my life or even me am not happy about, its easy to see whats wrong in front of the mirror than to see whats wrong in one's head or heart, Anyhoos will reach my goal and will put my mind to it and start dealing with the rest of my life, thanks for listening

IME you need to address the personal demons first before you can be successful at dieting/weight loss. Especially if weight loss is often used as an "escape" from these problems.
