good question. My insurance would cover it if the doctor ordered it. I have great insurance (I pay a fortune for it but....) She is more conservative with treatment in general, not one to order 100 tests like some other doctors. She knows my history but doesn't seem concerned at this point.
I have had my VIta D levels checked. They were low last year but now normal after several months of supplmenting.
Even knowing your ED history? It is very common for GPs to recommend a DEXA with a history like yours.
