You don't have to live like a hermit to eat every 6 hours. You should look into getting some protein bars that pack around 300 calories per bar, and/or make yourself some high calorie snacks you can take out with you (mixed nuts & fruit etc.)

I'm seriously considering having 2-3 meals a day in liquid form. Price and convience are the driving factors for me.

You'll get the hang of it. Try roasting about 3 days worth of chicken breasts, cook some stew in the crock pot, and throw a bunch of salads together in tupperware, and you've got yourself 24+ meals with relatively little effort.

tupperware is good... chicken breasts are nice.... but I'm really liking this beer thing!! The beer diet... hmm, possibly I should write a book? fitness books and fad diets being all the rage, I could probably make some cash. And what else would you expect from a milwaukeein?

Yes tupperware is my best friend..my wife pre-cooks all my meals for the week on Sundays..if it wasnt for her helping me, eating 6 (clean) meals a day would be alot harder.

Me personally I don't have much trouble during the week.
I eat breakfast.
I eat on my :15
I eat at Lunch
I eat on my :15
I eat around 6:00
I eat when I get home.
Weekends?
I try and have a good breakfast and then good luck after that. All bets are off. I do my best, but Saturday and Sunday are def my weakness when it comes to food, especially now that I am over at Shannon's some weekends.
I wonder if I am capable of posting a message without bringing her up? hahhahah

Tupperware and a small cooler are probably your best solutions. When you're cooking dinner the night before, make extra - or get another pan going with tomorrow's lunch.
You can also buy a shaker bottle and some meal replacement shakes to have in your pack and all you need to do is add water and you have a meal.
Fruit and nuts are very portable, as are sandwiches. You shouldn't have any problem throwing some sliced chicken or turkey on bread with a few leaves of lettuce. When I was working, I always had a cooler with a spare sandwich and a piece of fruit in it in the event that I had to work late or whatever. I also kept a few cans of tuna and a big bag of almonds in my desk.
So it's possible, but you're right, it does take some planning. And if you have a crock pot, make Johnka's roast, it's freakin heaven.

I find it's not too bad, although I'm not bulking so my snacks are relatively light. Usually my day works out to this:
6:30 breakfast -- egg, egg whites, plain yogurt, berries and granola.
10:00 snack -- apple, piece of string cheese
1:00 lunch -- tuna sandwich, raw baby carrots, skim milk
3:30 snack -- Low carb yogurt, a few almonds
6:30 dinner -- chicken breast, steamed veggies
9:30 snack -- cottage cheese
The morning snack is at my desk at work. We're not allowed to eat non-finger foods at our desks, so I take a 5 minute break in the afternoon to eat the yogurt. I find everything for my two daytime snacks and lunch fits easily into a lunchbox.

Get some tupperware, they are your best friend. Really.
I cook a bunch of chicken breasts in advance then let them cool. Open your tupperware, line them with a handful of spinach. Put the breasts on, I usually chop mine up to make it easier to eat so I only need a fork. I add some nuts (peanuts or cashews or almonds) then some chopped fruit (peaches, oranges, etc). I then put my standard dressing, a little bit of EVOO and balsamic vinegar. If I'm in the mood I'll toss in a few chopped veggies if I need to get them out of the fridge. All this goes into the fridge. NOTE: I make one of them larger than the others for lunch.
For other snacks I'll pack small containers of cottage cheese and fruit. I don't mind CC, but with a little fruit it goes down easier.
There, I just saved you 20.00 since you won't have to buy the John B DVD that shows you how to do this.
I also keep a couple of bottles with whey in them ready to go. Somedays I'll mix the whey with milk, other days water depending on where I'm at.

I work as a pest control technician and I find it extremely difficult to maintain several meals a day as scheduled. How do you guys manage?
