Gidday all,

Im starting the TAP soon. Ive started to work out the diet. In the process I worked out what I have actually been eating in the last 3 Months.

My Height: 6ft
weight 91kg (200 pounds approx)
I have been consuming roughly 3100 Cals a day
Ratios are wacked:

Protein: 275g
Carbs: 397g
Fat: 26g

These figures are way off right?
So can I ask should the figures be more like the follwing?

Protein: 184
Carbs: 283
Fat: 126

It just seems like an awfull lot of fat all of a sudden! Main goal is to stay roughly the same weight and just transform the body (Shape Shift)

Your opinion would be great. Feels weird all of a sudden reducing carbs and chucking in Olive oils and eating peanuts etc.

Also while Im at it I was told that your body could only handle (digest 30g) of protein every 2-3 hours. So why do most recipies have protein counts way up in the 60+ grams?

Sorry - Long post

I wouldn't worry too much about getting strict ratios, although you would probably benefit from eating more fat, on the order of 100 grams a day.

How do you eat only 26 g of fat a day?

If I were you, I'd swap the carb calories for the extra fat calories, and leave the protein where it is.

And don't worry about the 30g protein rule - it's bogus.

Yeah I just eat stuff and don't add fat to it on purpose which is what I gotta do I guess.

So an example could this be a good start?
Rather than:

100g Chicken Breast
Rice
Veges

Have:

100g Chicken Breast
Salad
Tablespoon Olive oil
Apple (for the carbs) or rice but less of it.
