Hi All,

I have a question. I went for a 5 mile run on my lunch hour today but forgot to pack any food for the afternoon.

By 3:30pm I was starving and the only food available was a chocolate bar (candy bar) from the snacks machine.

Did I do the right thing by eating this as opposed to not eating and slowing down my metabolism ?

If that really was your only option, then yes, it's better to eat SOMETHING than absolutely NOTHING for an extended time.
