Is there such a thing as too much fiber? I had 20 grams this morning and that's not including what i'll probably have during the day.

What would be considered too much? Can it be bad for you?

Pedro looks like he is setting on a toilet now… Is it coming from whole food? Then it is probably not that much of an issue. It seems like the daily recommended is around 30 + grams.

too much fiber could possibly lead to increased water loss and it can interfer w/ mineral absorption. I wouldnt worry too much about it though.

Too much fiber can lead to gas. Especially if it's a sudden jump to that amount of fiber.

and I find that too little fiber leads to constipation.

The reality is that too much fiber is not an issue with about 99.999999999999% of all Americans. On the other hand, you would be amazed at the almost non-existant fiber intake of most people. Whenever I do 3-day diet analysis with my students or my athletes, the average is around 10 grams per day. WAY low!
