I've found some whey protein which I thought I had lost. Its use-by date was almost 6 months ago, will it still be ok to take?

Thanks for any replies!

There's a reason they put an expiration date on foods. I'd throw it out. Especially if it expired 6 mos ago. Just my 2 cents

What's going to happen to dry whey protein? It's probably not going to taste great, but it won't kill you. I'm cheap enough that I'd just use it and not worry about it.

Even though it is dry it is still a food. All food has the potential to go bad (with the exception of non-perishable goods). If it doesn't have that potential than the FDA would not require it to have an expiration date on it.
