Hey guys!

For some reason I've been pondering this lately. Which of the two scenarios would have a greater impact on weight gain:

1) Eating a large pizza in one sitting?

or

2) Eating a large pizza split up into eight slices throughout the day?

Consider the above pizza as the only meal of the day with no exercise.

I would suggest eating a veggie covered pizza in moderation. But I would rather get it over with in one sitting personally...

Both would impact it. But eating it all in one sitting would be the worse of the two.

Yup. This would cause a bigger insulin spike, which would lead to more fat storage.

It's the same concept of why we should eat 5-8 meals, having a meal every 2-3 hours vs. eating 2-3 larger meals a day. The two scanerios above, the calores could be equal, but it's the effects on your metabolism and insulin levels that would lead to body composistion differences.

Many fat people only eat one or two large meals in the day.
