does anything work anymore? I dunno, I think I feel a bit better for taking them, as opposed to not taking a vitamin...

ok so you may piss some of it out, big deal as very few vitamins show major toxicity at supplemented doses. I definitly would NOT overdo it though if you have a good diet. I definitly see it is 'insurance'

The problem is they say their are no double blind studies done on multivitamins but this is damn near IMPOSSIBLE to do on something like this that would only have accumilitive(and probably protective) effects over a lifetime. Try controling someones diet and tracking it for 20 years, good luck with that.

I agree that their isnt any proven short-term benefits for vitamin/mineral supplementation. IE: got x-condition take y-vitamin and recieve results in the short term. Then again how many of us even take them for this reason? I personally take them for the long term benefits.
