Hello everyone,

I’m back from vacation, married, and 7lbs heavier, lol…. Truth be told, I didn’t hold back at all for the last 2 week, I ate whatever I wanted and loved every minute of it! The wedding was great, we couldn’t have asked for better weather, sunny with blue skies and 90+ degrees all week. Hilton Head is beautiful this time of year, everything but the amount of insects, I have never seen so many mosquitoes in my life. While I was in Hilton Head I visited the Golds Gym down there, it was pretty nice, having all the trainers walking around was a real bonus, although I prefer working out at my usual place here in Ohio. We stayed on Singleton Beach, here is a picture of the houses we were in, their wasn’t a house under 2-mil in the hole allotment.

Now that I’m back it’s time to get down to business. I started working out the first week of January, I have went from 225 to 193 and now I am at 200, I have lost about 40lbs of body fat and put on a bunch of muscle in the process. Now that the summer has come to end it’s time to start thinking about the holiday-10, (you know what I’m talking about) I don’t want to step on a scale come January and be in the same position as I was last year. My goal for the rest of this year is to put on as much muscle as humanly possible while keeping my body fat at a controllable level.

Since the average person puts on a few holiday pounds now is a great time to discuss all the tempting foods we are taunted with through the holidays, and which ones can help put on the right kind of weight (muscle weight). Rest assure I will be eating some major turkey throughout the next couple months “I can’t wait”, I also plan to eat a very good share of vegetables and even some pumpkin pie, easy on the stuffing!

I would like to keep the weight at 200 pounds through December and start a serious summer cut after the 1st of the year. Between eating mostly clean foods and my workouts I don’t see this as a problem, although I want to put on some muscle, what foods would you recommend as good muscle builders throughout the holidays?

I'm essentially from Hilton Head, and talking to my parents they are saying that the weather has been great, so it's good to hear that everything went well for you! Where was the wedding exactly? And since you're from Ohio, please don't say you drive a minivan...it's a running joke down there that everyone from Ohio drives a minivan while in HHI. Of course, it's also a running joke that the capitol of Ohio is Hilton Head Island, SC

The wedding was on Singleton beach, just down the street from the house. I don’t drive a minivan, I am surprised that they say minivans instead of sport utilities, Ohioans love their trucks and they pay for it in gas!

Here’s my ride, I love VW’s, hence the user name!
