I was just looking at the nutrition facts on my cereal...

Fiber 10g
Soluable Fiber 1g
Insoluable Fiber 9g

What does that mean? is it better to have more soluable fiber?

insoluble fiber is essentially roughage. Good for colin health etc. Soluble fiber is the type that binds bile and lowers cholestoral levels. It is also the type that will make you feel the most 'full'.

A good balance of both is best.
