Diet, Nutrition and SupplementationPost here for supplement reviews or nutritional advice. If you're trying to get "ripped abz" THIS is where you should be.
Has anyone here tried either of them? Is it any good? I ask cause theres this health food place accross from my gym that serves it and Im curious to try it, but want to make sure its edible.
I've had buffalo. It's like very lean beef, somewhat similar to venison (if that helps), especially if it's ground.
All I can say is try it -- I'll always encourage anyone to try a new food. Even if it's not to your liking, it's only one meal. Make eating an adventure!

Buffalo is great. It's the only red meat I eat now. Honestly, you can't taste the difference between it and beef. It's really lean so when you grill it, make sure not the overcook it or else it will turn out dry.
I bought some ostrich the other day too, but I haven't made it yet. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Thanks for the reply's. Ill definitely give the Buffalo a go this weekend after my workout, and Ill try the Ostrich the weekend after. (Saturday's are the only days Im able to workout during the day)
Ostrich is tough to do well, I find. It's SO lean that it dries out far too quickly. I'd say if you were going to have ostrich, you'd have to put it in a stew or something; as opposed to simply having a piece of it.

Yea, it is reallly lean. I was looking on the label of the ostrich I have in the fridge, and it has only 1g of fat per serving! Not bad considering 36g of protein...now that's a powerful bird, hehe.
